Upland properties need
a building-led approach.
Crymych is a large linear village occupying an upland position on the lower eastern slopes of the Preseli Hills, with a mixture of older buildings and substantial later development.
This varied building stock means moisture problems cannot be assessed on the assumption that every property has been constructed in the same way. Older buildings may incorporate solid masonry and traditional materials, while later properties commonly use cavity-wall construction, blockwork, brickwork and rendered external finishes.
