External levels, paving, gullies and surface-water routes are considered where moisture affects lower walls and floor-to-wall junctions.
Roofs & Rainwater Goods
Roof coverings, chimney details, gutters and downpipes are assessed where defects may introduce or concentrate moisture around the building.
Alterations & Finishes
Render, dense finishes, dry-lining, replacement floors and other alterations are considered where they may have changed the original moisture behaviour of the property.
Ventilation & Timber
Internal humidity, ventilation, cold surfaces, suspended floors and accessible timbers are considered where condensation, mould or prolonged moisture may be present.
