Roofs & Rainwater Goods
Roof coverings, chimney stacks, flashings, gutters and downpipes are assessed where defects may increase moisture loading to the adjoining building fabric.
Traditional Materials
Cement render, dense pointing, modern coatings and other later finishes are considered where they may restrict evaporation from older masonry.
Timber & Ventilation
Suspended floors, concealed timbers, sub-floor ventilation and internal humidity are considered where prolonged moisture could contribute to timber deterioration or mould growth.
